I met Hayley and Chris via another wedding I was shooting for a lovely friend of mine. In fact, I gave them a lift to the reception of that wedding. I remember thinking waaaay back then that they were a bit super cool. So when they booked me and began to tell me of their Hellens Manor barn wedding plans, I couldn’t BE more excited. 1,000 multicoloured paper cranes, masses of colour, tables themed from placed they had lived around the world, Hellens Manor Barn and orchards, lounge furniture at the venue (home from home), Birkenstocks, colourful toes, Chucks, bow ties, surprise songs, nothing formal, nothing traditional, all the gorgeousness.
I can’t pick highlights from this Hellens Manor barn wedding. But one thing which sticks in my mind, was one of the guests saying that we (myself, Hayley and Chris) were “a match made in heaven”. Mostly because we were all as off the wall and bonkers as each other. Once again, that reassures me that I’m doing something right, and how much I love my clients. And that match made in heaven was sealed back when they threw custard pies at each other at The Custard Factory. …yes, really. Here’s a tiny selection of my favourite images from their awesome day.
“I can’t get over these images Jay, keep staring sleepily. They are just perfect in every way and now I’ll stop messaging you and let you sleep too; we can see how very hard you have worked on them and how hard you worked on the day and for that we will be forever thankful xxxx”
