A Hazel Gap Barn wedding, with Scottish themes, a hand-fasting ceremony, hints of luxe and luxury, and two gorgeous people in love? YES PLEASE.
Danielle and Eamonn had their wedding ceremony in beautiful new wedding venue, Hazel Gap Barn, part of the Cripps Farm/Barns Family. And it’s gorgeous. Masses of space outside, a beautiful barn restoration and conversion inside. In fact, if you head on over to their website, you can view the before and after photos, and the transformation is INCREDIBLE.
Danielle and her beautiful bridesmaids had a relaxing morning at The Ulvers, a new wedding venue in itself in Cuckney. It’s an exclusive use luxury country manor house, and you can relax as much as you care, until you’re ready for the ceremony. It’s absolutely lush, and I intend to go back there asap). Also, Hazel Gap wasn’t far away, making a nice and easy journey for the bridal party.
At Hazel Gap itself, seriously, it was amazing. The work which has been done is huge, and is perfect. Decorated with lush florals by Catkin Flowers, and a continuation of the London Liberty theme, styled perfectly for the couple. Oh, and of course one of my FAVOURITE wedding elements – kilts a-plenty, thanks to MacGregor and MacDuff! Oooo I do love a wedding with plenty of kilts. I don’t know why. But they’re AWESOME. Another thing to consider if you’re thinking of having a Hazel Gap Barn wedding, is the beautiful forest grounds at the back. Perfect for a little time away from your guests, and peaceful enough to enjoy your bride and groom portraits. I did some in-house printing of the woodland portraits to 24″ x 36″, and they look sooooo good.
Anyway! Enough of my rambling – I know you just want to see this relaxed and very lovely wedding day unfold, right? Congratulations to Danielle and Eamonn, and thank you once again for inviting me to photograph your wedding day! xx
