It’s as much of an honour to be asked to second shoot a wedding, as it is to photograph a wedding myself. So I was pretty damn pleased with myself when award winning photographer Paul Clarke asked if I fancied indulging in a bit of Hedsor House wedding photography with him. (Um, hell yes. Plus, I ADORE Hedsor House, but more on that in a bit.)
The couple had returned from the USA to the UK, for their Netherlands themed wedding at Hedsor House. And it was soooooo lovely. The bride looked absolutely amazing and elegant. And, once she teamed up with the groom for the ceremony, it was pure love.
Hedsor House itself was all kinds of stunning. The Bridal Suite has the most amazing bathroom I have ever seen. To be perfectly honest, I took a ridiculous number of photos of just the claw-foot bath. And I would have climbed into it, but y’know…etiquette, and all..! Then there’s also the lush grounds and gardens, loads of room for guests to relax, and the Georgian style mansion in the middle of it all. The staff were superb (so incredibly friendly) and the food was so tasty. It’s the sort of venue that literally provides just about everything you need.
This is just a tiny selection of my favourites which I shot on film, and you can see the full slideshow at the end of the post. Soooo…Universe, please can I photograph another wedding at Hedsor House? Because I’m kinda in love with the place…
