Once in a blue moon, I do some children’s photography. Never formal stuff, and I never ask them to “pose for the camera” (ew). Every third blue moon, I actually photograph my own kiddos, AND process the pics AND save them and EVERYTHING.
It’s a rarity, I can tell you.
They’re pretty used to being in front of the camera, as regular test subjects. Although Little Small is going through a “oh you’re pointing the camera at me so I’m totally going to hide behind this dinosaur/Father Bear/piece of Lego/wooden train/spoonful of pasta” stage. It’s cool though, it makes us both giggle.
So I’m being a bit self indulgent, and thought I’d blog some recent snaps of The Smalls. We didn’t go far and they didn’t do much (and the weather was a bit dull). But y’know, I do miss the days of being a kid in the street. It’s nearly the end of the school year, and, well, they need lots of chill out time. So here we are at the height of “summer” (hah!): snotty noses, trousers too small, scuffed trainers. Just like kids should be when they’re chilling out. Right?
Introducing: Big Small (5) and Little Small (4). 😉
