Jay Mountford Photography Workshop at Home Barn!

Every so often, I’m invited to do a photography workshop for blogging conferences. This year saw me do an “Auto to Manual” photography workshop for Cybher, which was brilliantly received (I love that delegates are still contacting me about it, months later!). Since that workshop, many other people have been asking when I would be doing my OWN workshops, independent from conferences. Overwhelmed, much??!?

WELL. I’m pleased to announce that, thanks to a rather brilliant (and hawt) Lizzie Owen from Owen PR, and the UH-MAZING Home Barn in Little Marlow, Bucks, I can now announce that my first photography workshop is ACTUALLY HAPPENING!!!

Jay Mountford Photography Workshop

10th September sees a unique and exciting new photography workshop opportunity, held here at Home Barn in Buckinghamshire and hosted by professional photographer and blogger Jay Mountford, founder of Jay Mountford Photography .

Jay will teach delegates the art of capturing the perfect image using your own DSLR camera, shooting an endless array of stunning eclectic vintage props already available to style within our store, using various lighting and styling techniques and a fantastic selectin of lens options supplied by Lens Fettish. The day will be very hands on, and is absolutely ideal for those with small businesses and online platforms who rely on beautiful imagery, already take great shots, but may want more technical and prop advice to improve their existing styles.

The course normally costs £250 per delegate, but because this is a new partnership with Jay Mountford and Home Barn, a workshop discount of £80 per delegate is applicable – this will cover the basic costs for the day which will include refreshments (from the amazing Queens Head in Little Marlow no less), lens hire and hire of the venue.

We are all incredibly excited about this brand new venture and will blog about the event after, so if you’re unable to attend this time, we will report back and let you know how it went and we’re sure Jay will be planning more workshops in the future. Here’s to learning more about beautiful photography, with a better insight into image geekery.
