Ok, I know I haven’t blogged Claire and Christian’s wedding in Windermere at The Wild Boar as yet. It’s coming, soon. I promise. But I wanted to share these images first (even though they were shot the day after!).
The wedding day itself was crazy where the weather was concerned – driving rain and gale force winds, all day and night long. Claire and Christian had planned to have a Gruffalo Hunt the following day, but we were super-conscious of the weather! And wouldn’t you know it…we woke up to beautiful, dramatic skies. I was staying in a nearby hotel, so of course, I grabbed my film camera and went for a quick walk around The Wild Boar, before I headed home. 🙂
Full blog post of their very wet and awesome wedding day, coming very soon!

I just want to add that, the last three shots, I had actually left the venue already. I was driving down some winding roads, when suddenly everything opened out and I was confronted with this gorgeous view. I couldn’t help but pull the car over (narrowly missing a large tractor…), and whip my camera out to capture the view. Pretty glad I did!
