One thing which is really important (to me) which people need to understand: I make friends with my clients. It’s important to me. To the point where I almost feel weird calling them “clients”. Nicola and Martin very quickly became my friends, and I confess I couldn’t be happier about it. They are such a lovely couple, and have been from the day they got in touch. Also, massive hat tip to one of my favourite suppliers, Revivemeboutique for recommending me to Nicola!
So, only a week before their big day, I discovered Nicola was actually getting married on her birthday – how cool! And what a way to spend the day. A nautical themed wedding day, with awesome people, accessories, and suppliers. A GORGEOUS 60 year old blue Cadillac, with white wall tyres? YUMMEH. Hair, make-up and dresses styled with a funky 50s vintage twist? GORGEOUS. Accessories all keeping in with the nautical theme, and COMPLETELY unique? YESSSS. A couple so cute you kinda have to squeak a little bit during their portraits? UH HUH.
I’ve been awaiting the start of my wedding season like a cat, coiled and ready to pounce. And I couldn’t have asked for a better start. A brilliant day with the couple’s friends and family, and I had so much fun. Happy birthday to the lovely Nicola, and congratulations to the happy couple!
