I. Love. Travelling. This summer, a bit of Wiltshire wedding photography was up for grabs, 2nd shooting Will Ablett. Yes, I know, I live in Birmingham. But seriously, no distance is too far for a wedding. And I was in for a treat! A civil partnership between the very stylish and classy Greg and Joel, with their very closest friends and family for the day.
Married at the Temple of Apollo, part of the National Trust in Stourhead, then a gorgeous Wiltshire wedding reception at their stunning farm house home, the whole day was just so lovely. It’s weddings like this, with laid back couples, at venues like this with (OH SO MUCH) scenery and architecture to admire, which give me the twitchies to go out and do tons more wedding photography (cannot get enough. I’m not even kidding).
Greg and Joel (and their families) are brilliant. As was their venue, their ceremony, their Wiltshire wedding locations, their cake (styled on the llamas and sheep in the field opposite – er – how cool and funky?), their styling, their day – oh it was just all blumming awesome. I honestly can’t wait to 1st shoot a wedding like this. I spent so much time seeing awesome photo opportunities everywhere which aren’t possible as 2nd shooter. There’s nothing like an awesome wedding like this one to open my eyes to more possibilities.
Ok I’ll just be quiet now and let you enjoy their wedding, eh? Yes.
